Perpetual Recordz

Perpetual Recordz is an independent vinyl label dedicated to modern soul, boogie, and underground electronic music. Founded with a focus on authenticity and musical integrity, the label explores the space between forgotten grooves and contemporary reinterpretations, offering carefully curated releases for collectors and dedicated listeners.

Rather than following trends, Perpetual Recordz operates as a private press-inspired platform, releasing limited edition vinyl records in small runs. Each project is approached as a complete artistic object, from the music itself to the visual identity, liner notes, and pressing format. The label places strong emphasis on sound quality, cultural context, and long-term value rather than mass distribution.

The catalog covers a wide spectrum of modern soul and boogie-influenced music, including mid-tempo soul, synth-driven funk, obscure electronic hybrids, and experimental crossover projects. Many releases draw inspiration from the 1980s independent scene while remaining firmly rooted in a contemporary production approach. This balance allows Perpetual Recordz to function both as a label and as an archival space for sounds that exist outside mainstream classification.

Limited 7-inch and 12-inch vinyl formats play a central role in the label's identity. Pressings are intentionally restricted, reflecting the philosophy of scarcity and collectability associated with private press culture. Digital formats are also available for listeners who prefer access without physical constraints, ensuring worldwide reach while preserving the exclusivity of the vinyl editions.

Perpetual Recordz distributes its releases internationally, working directly with listeners rather than relying on traditional distribution chains. Worldwide shipping is available, and the label maintains a direct relationship with its audience through its online store and selected platforms such as Discogs and Bandcamp. This direct-to-listener model reinforces independence and allows each release to remain connected to its original intent.

Beyond commerce, Perpetual Recordz functions as a cultural project. The label documents a specific musical sensibility, one that values restraint, groove, and emotional depth over immediate visibility. Each release contributes to a growing catalog that reflects a coherent aesthetic rather than isolated products.

Collectors, DJs, and listeners searching for obscure modern soul, private press-style boogie, and limited vinyl editions will find in Perpetual Recordz a focused and intentional catalog. The label continues to expand through carefully selected projects, maintaining consistency in sound, presentation, and philosophy.
